Mini Paleo Chocolate Donuts

This recipe for Paleo Chocolate Donuts is super easy and also includes a recipe for a delicious chocolate drizzle! One of my new favourite recipes for one of my favourite treats, except this time it’s a healthier version. Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 15 mins | Servings: 12 mini donuts

Ingredients

Donut Batter

  • 3/4 cup almond meal
  • 1 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened pure organic applesauce
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup mini dark chocolate chips

Chocolate Drizzle

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients for batter in a bowl and mix until smooth
  2. Pour combined mixture into sprayed mini donut tin
  3. Bake on 350ºF for about 15 minutes
  4. For Glaze: melt chocolate and add in coconut oil
  5. Remove from oven and let cool on cooling rack
  6. Once cooled, drizzle chocolate over tops of the mini donuts
  7. Enjoy!
