Happy Friday! Can you believe that the third month of 2016 has come and gone? I’m pretty happy about this as I finish my last exam in exactly a week! That means a long summer break… you might say I’m excited!! This particular monthly favourites is filled with my new favourite beauty products, check out my favourites below 🙂

Lauren Conrad Celebrate  via Indigo

This is my new favourite book, seriously! I have been waiting for this book to come out & I’m so glad I pre-ordered it, because it showed up on my doorstep on the official release day! This book is all about how to throw a successful party, she shares her must-have guide to entertaining. Can’t wait to try some of her tips!

EltaMD EltaMD UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 via Blitz Facial Bar

Almost a week ago, I went to Blitz Facial Bar in Toronto to get my very first facial and it was amazing! I think it was exactly what my skin needed. After my facial, my technician suggest two products for me (the second is pictured below) and I am seriously loving them so far! This particular product is a tinted sunscreen moisturizer.

Body Blitz Pumpkin Peel via Blitz Facial Bar

As I mentioned above, this is the second product that was recommended for my skin after my facial at Blitz! This pumpkin peel is a face mask which has a enzymatic exfoliant that blends pumpkin pulp, carrot extract, papain and bromeliad enzymes, for a healthy, refined appearance! I have only used this once since I got it (because it is an exfoliant) but it made my skin feel amazing afterwards! You apply a thin layer of this after cleansing and leave on for 10-15 minutes then rinse thoroughly!

Essie Nail Polish Left: High Class Affair Right: Shades On via Walgreens

Who doesn’t love the spring collection from Essie?! I can’t get enough of their colours! I don’t know why… but I always end up buying my Essie nail polishes when I am in Florida! Walgreens always has such a great selection! I picked up these two while on my last trip and I am in love with them, perfect for this time of year!

NeoStrata NeStrata Moisture Infusion Hydrating Cream via Toronto Fashion Week

This product is my new best friend!!!!!! I got this hydrating cream as a free sample from when I attended Toronto Fashion Week, and it is amazing. Over the last couple months I was struggling with a lot of acne on my chin and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong or how to fix it. This all changed when I got my makeup done and was asked what type of moisturizer I had been using…I told her I was using the Clean & Clear dual action moisturizer, and she immediately shook her head and said that it was full of chemicals and was doing more harm then good to my skin! She said I was breaking out because my skin was so dry. After hearing this you can imagine I ran to the NeoStrata booth at TFW to get some free samples, and I am so glad I did. I have seen a significant difference in my skin!!

Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser via Shoppers Drug Mart

This is one of my favourite new cleansers! I bought this as soon as I got back from my Florida trip because I was initially looking for the Garnier Clean Plus Pore Purifying Clay Cleanser Plus Mask – that I actually bought in Florida because I wasn’t able to bring my own face wash down with me. The Garnier face wash/mask is AMAZING and I wish I was able to bring it home with me! If any one knows where to buy this in Ontario… please let me know! I know Amazon has it, but I am hoping to find it in store.

Revlon Colorstay Makeup Normal/Dry Skin 180 via Shoppers Drug Mart

Last but not least is a foundation from Revlon! Whenever my foundation runs out I usually try a new product and I think I have found one that I can stick with! I have been using this foundation for about a month and a half now and I love it. It is super light weight but provides excellent coverage! Love love love it!

What are some of your beauty favourites from the month of March? Comment below if you have any suggestions for curing dry skin or acne, I’d love to hear. I hope you all enjoyed this post, thanks so much for checking it out ❤

  1. I love that Elta MD moisturiser for heat protection. It does take a little while to absorb into the skin I find, but I definitely like the high level of protection that it provides — used it all the time back home in Jamaica. I wish I had gotten to use you at TFW! Also I’m curious to learn about NeoStrata — never tried their stuff. Had I not been in such a rush at TFW I would have stopped by their booth. Hahaha. Good post as always! 🙂
