Not only do I love frozen fruit, I also adore yogurt! Put the two together, and you get this delicious snack! These yogurt-covered strawberries are insanely quick and easy to make. All you have to do is find the juiciest strawberries (or any other fruit of your choice), grab your favourite yogurt, and get dippin’. Check out the recipe below!
- 1 pint (2 cups) ripe strawberries
- 1 1/2 cup vanilla-flavoured Greek yogurt
- Gently hold the leaves of the strawberry away from the fruit. Dip the fruit into the yogurt until it’s 90 percent covered. Remove and place on a plate or wire rack. Repeat with remaining strawberries and yogurt. Freeze for 1 hour.
- Remove berries from the freezer and repeat the first step, coating berries with a second layer of yogurt. Freeze for another hour, or until ready to serve.
TIP: Leave the strawberries inside the freezer or fridge until you are ready to enjoy them…the yogurt will eventually soften! 🙂
