Green Berry Smoothie

One of my favourite morning/afternoon snacks is a delicious smoothie! They are a fast, easy, healthy and refreshing snack! Between the naturally sweet fruit and the strawberry yogurt, there was no need to add any extra sugar. The recipe will serve two, orΒ you can freeze the second portion for later! Preparation: 5 minutes | Processing: 30 seconds | Yield: 2 1/2 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen/fresh mixed berries
  • 1/2 cup low-fat strawberry yogurt
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup of baby spinach
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
  2. Enjoy!
