One of my favourite things to do on a Sunday is relax!! One of the best ways I overcome school stress and those October chills is by taking a bath. and of course Netflix (everyone loooooves Netflix). But anyways, back to baths… like (some) girls I love baths! My favourite thing is to light a candle, play a little Michael Buble (my absolute fave) and just relax!! I usually either add bath salts, or any essential oils. This time of year my skin gets super dry so I decided to take a milk bath this morning!! It is super moisturizing and my skin feels amazing after!! Below is how I made my own milk bath 🙂
2 cups of milk (whole is best)
1/2 cup of corn starch
1/4 cup of baking soda
oil of your choice (optional)
1. Combine your ingredients in a bowl or jar (I used a jar) and mix ingredients together until smooth (or shake your tightly closed jar until smooth)
2. Add any essential oil you choose. I decided to use a teaspoon of olive oil (perfect for very dry skin) and lavender oil. (These oils are optional, a plain milk bath will work just as well).
3. Place your covered jar or bowl in a dark place for a couple of hours (I usually make the mixture a night before I plan on taking my bath!!)
4. Fill up your bath to your desired level and add the mixture
5. Relax and Enjoy!!!
